I. Competition under the solution of draughts compositions.

A) DRAUGHTS-100.
1. I championships of the world.
- preliminary-correspondence stage, August 1998 - February, 1999 (is
prolonged till March 31, 1999). Competitive positions are the positions of
units of "Problems", "Miniature", "Endgames" of magazine "Shashetchnyj mir"
(n2, n3, n4, n5/6 for 1998). The separate sheet with all positions of
competition will be sent till December 1, 1998 to all draughts federations
- members FMJD. 
- Final (presence), October - November, 1999, 5 days. Place of realisation
- Minsk, Byelorussia.
Selection: 
- 20 participants from preliminary stage (10 participants who have occupied
first 10 places + 10 best representatives from other countries, borrowed
the subsequent place - not including in first ten, on one from each);
- Till 2 participants from the countries - members FMJD, declared by their
federations till August 1, 1999. The official applications are directed in
Bureau FMJD.
The final will consist of 3 rounds (1 round per day, each round - 4 hours).

1 round - solution 20 problems (miniatures) with the indication CS (BO), FT
(SO) and other defects (10 problems of average complexity, 10 - increased
complexity). 
2 round - solution 6 Endgames with the indication CS (BO), FT (SO) and
other defects (3 Endgames of average complexity, 3 - increased complexity).

3 round - solution of compositions on speed with charge of bonus glasses
for the won time. For the solution it will be offered 30 problems
(miniatures) of average complexity.
The final places are made on the sum of places engaged in three rounds of
championship. 
The command result is made on 2 participants declared on participation from
federation.
More complete conditions of championship and the rules of competition will
be sent together with the invitation to championship after application.

2. II championships of the world - 2000
B) DRAUGHTS-64 (Russian VERSION).
1. III championships of the world.
- 2-nd preliminary-correspondence stage, December 1998 - March 31, 1999.
The conditions and positions will be published in magazine "Shashetchnyj
mir" (n5/6-1998) and are dispatched to all federations of the countries -
members FMJD till December 31, 1998.
- Final (presence), November - December, 1999, 5 days. The place of
realisation - Simferopol (Alushta), Ukraine.
Selection:
- Till 2 participants from the countries - members FMJD, declared by their
federations till August 1, 1999. The official applications are directed in
Bureau FMJD or to the address of president of section.
- Participants, who have occupied first 10 places in preliminary stage,
carried out in 1995;
- Participants, who have occupied first 10 places in 2-nd preliminary
stage.
The final will consist of 3 rounds (1 round per day, each round - 4 hours).

2. IV championships of the world - 2000

II. Competitions to compose
draughts compositions.
A. DRAUGHTS-100.
1. Cup of the world 1998/1999.
4 competitions enter following into result of Cup of the world:
- Competition FMJD-98;
- Competition of magazine "Shashetchnyj mir"-99;
- Lithuanian international competition "Lietuva-99";
- Competition FFJD-99.
On results of Cup of the world the personal and command result will be
made.
Personal result - the victors of Cup of the world are defined on two genres
of draughts composition: to "problems" (including competitions on
composition of problems, miniatures and problems with dames) and
"Endgames".
The places on genre of "Problems" are defined on the least sum of places of
three best performances in categories of the above-stated competitions. In
case of sharing - the preference is given back to the one who has the best
fourth performance etc. 
The places on genre "Endgames" are defined on the least sum of places of
two best performances.
Command result is made on three best representatives of this or that
country acting in Cup of the world.
To the victors of Cup world-98/99 the rank of worlds champion of the will
be given.

Cup of the world 1998/99:
1. FMJD-98. Terms of realisation: May 1 1998 - April 30, 1999 (term of
sending of products till October 31, 1999). 
3 categories: A - "Miniature" (theme free, up to 7x7); B - "Problems"
(theme - "stolbniak" in any place: on large diagonal, double etc., from 9x9
up to 11x12 and 12x11); C - "Endgames" (theme - free).
Compositions to send to address of Zubov E.
2. International competition of magazine "Shashetchnyj mir" -98. Terms:
November 1 1998 - September 30 1999 (term of sending of products till March
31, 1999).
4 categories: A - "Problems" (theme - free, number of pieces - from 12x12
up to 14x14); B - " Problems with dames " (theme - minimum two composite
variants; no more 2-nd dames from each party); C - " Endgames " (theme - no
more than 1 dames at white), D - "Zadatchis" (miniature). 
The category "Zadatchis" does not enter into result of Cup of the world.
Compositions to send to address of Zubov E.
3. "Lietuva-99" (competition the Lithuanian federation will carry out);
4. FFJD-99 (competition the French federation will carry out).

B) DRAUGHTS-64 (Russian VERSION).
1. I championships of the world.
Units: "problems", "Endgames", "Zadatchis".
Terms of summarising: March - December, 1998 (the terms are prolonged till
February 28, 1999). The results on all units will be made by the main judge
in view of opinions of the experts on each of units.
2. International competition of magazine "Shashetchnyj mir" -99. Terms:
December 1998 - October 31 1999 (term of sending of products till April 30,
1999).
4 categories: A - "Problems" (theme - free); B - " Problems with dames "
(theme - minimum two composite variants; no more 2-nd dames from each
party); C - " Endgames " (theme - free, no more 2-nd dames at white); D -
"Zadatchis" (theme - free).

Term of sending by mail of solutions of the first and second rounds till
December 31 to the address: Russia, 109462, Moscow, st. Yunykh Lenincev,
59-1-36, Zubov Å.Â.
To write down the solution it is possible in the brief notation. It is
necessary it is necessary to specify the complete collateral solutions and
non-performance of solution. For all defects, which will be specified, the
additional glasses are charged.
For the author's solution of each miniature (number of pieces up to 7x7) is
given 4 points. For a problem - 6 points. For an endgame - 10 points. It is
necessary to specify all composite variants of product, which were provided
by its author . On each defect is given from 1 up to 10 points depending on
its complexity.
The participants, which will borrow in a result first ten places will
become the free-of-charge subscribers of a magazine "SM" in 1999. First ten
participants, and also 10 representatives of those countries, which have
not got in first ten (on one from each country), will have the right to
take part in the final 1 championship of the world under the solution of
draughts compositions ("100"). This championship will pass in 1999 city
Minsk (Byelorussia) in October (November).
